About the Business

Bagel AI is the first AI-native Product Intelligence Platform that connects product decisions to business impact automatically. Built for teams who are tired of guessing, it aligns product and go-to-market (GTM) functions, creating seamless collaboration across stakeholders. Their mission is to replace friction and gut-feel with clarity and measurable outcomes, ensuring every product decision drives growth.

Bagel AI approached us to create a sleek, high-converting website to showcase their product and attract demo requests. They needed a digital presence that would reflect their innovation and establish them as a credible player in a rapidly evolving space.

Project Challenges

Complex domain -the product's functionality was technically deep and not immediately intuitive, requiring additional input from the client to craft clear and engaging visuals.

Tight timelines - the team had just 4 weeks to design and launch multiple pages while incorporating live feedback and rapid iterations.

Color constraints - the client’s strong preference for orange as a dominant brand color posed a visual challenge, especially in combination with purple and turquoise.

Project Goals

01.

Rebuild the brand’s digital identity after a failed freelance attempt that lacked quality.

02.

Create a visual narrative that clearly explains a complex AI product.

03.

Increase demo bookings and prepare the site for a full-scale product launch.

04.

Design pages that are not only aesthetic but perform in real-time development scenarios.

Phase1:

Kick-Off

The client came prepared with a full brand guideline and all page content, enabling us to move quickly into ideation. We aligned on expectations, visuals, and timeline knowing from day one that we needed speed and quality.

Phase2:

Ideation

Our team jumped straight into concept generation, creating 13 different visual directions. This phase was fast-paced and collaborative. The client was impressed by the creativity and immediately engaged in feedback, helping us refine the final direction quickly.

Phase3:

Design

We tackled one page at a time, starting with the homepage, then moving to features, about, error page, book-a-demo, and legal pages. Key design highlights included:

  • Animations with bounce and overshoot effects to give personality to Bagel’s identity.
  • Micro-iterations to balance visual flair with clarity, especially in text-heavy sections.
  • A winning layout that used orange in a tasteful, dominant way without overwhelming users.

Besides making significant changes to navigation structure, we also designed new features.  To boost user engagement and loyalty, we worked jointly with Negosh product team on the Opportunity board, a feature designed to provide users with a more personalized experience and enable brands to explore tailored partnership opportunities.

Development Collaboration

This was one of the strongest client-dev-design relationships we’ve had. Development began almost simultaneously with design. We handed off pages as they were finalized, often reviewing live builds and refining animations in real time. The motion and design teams worked closely to bring the brand to life across every element, including a standout animated 404 page.

Results

  • Client satisfaction: The client was extremely pleased with both the process and outcome calling our team “design geniuses.” They appreciated the fast-paced, highly collaborative approach and how well the final product reflected their vision.
  • Data-driven success: Post-launch analytics clearly showed that the new website dramatically improved performance:
    • New users increased from 40 to 514 in just one week - a +1,185% jump.
    • Sessions grew from 43 to 582 (+1,253%), with users exploring more content during each visit.
    • Views per session increased from 2.05 to 2.63.
    • Average session duration nearly doubled, going from 4 minutes 57 seconds to 9 minutes 48 seconds (+97.9%).
    • Bounce rate dropped across key p ages, while total event count reached 20,000 indicating stronger interaction and deeper engagement.
    • The homepage alone generated over 3,100 views and 11,000 tracked events.
  • Clear business impact: The uplift in traffic quality and engagement directly supported Bagel AI’s business goals - more demo requests, more engaged users, and a more credible digital presence.
  • Funding success: Shortly after the website launch, Bagel AI secured $5.5 million in seed funding - a strong indicator that the new brand experience resonated with both users and investors.
  • Ongoing collaboration: We’re already working on additional pages for their expanding platform.

Conclusion

The Bagel AI website redesign is a clear example of how design done right can unlock real business results. In just a few weeks, we turned a weak digital presence into a high-performing, high-impact platform. The numbers speak for themselves: +1,185% new users, nearly double the session time, and over 20,000 tracked interactions. What started as a visual upgrade became a growth catalyst. Bagel AI now has a brand experience that matches its product’s intelligence and the momentum to scale.
